And these are the folks who will be advising McCain if he is elected? If McCain is incompetent enough to so completely mis-handle the VP selection process, how can anyone believe he can get things right while sitting in the Oval office? Geez! These guys are amateurs!

Just like every decision in the Bush Administration, this was political decision and not a decision based on competence. If you liked the last eight years, you will love McCain/Palin. If you are outraged about the damage and incompetence of the last eight years, you will hate McCain/Palin.

I think that will become more obvious over the coming weeks. Just the initial 48 hours have dug up some compelling information that isn't all positive. And Alaskans themselves are wondering whether she is ready. I think Alaskans tend to be rugged, very independent and not afraid to speak their minds. They may really like her as Governor and be a red state but I don't think they are as likely to march to the talking points as some other groups in the GOP.

Are you talking about the party establishment that wasn't consulted or the McCain campaign that wasn't asked? Because depending on the answer to this question, it might actually move some independent votes.

Sen.McCain picking Gov.Palin for His Vice President shows us and the whole world how very out of touch he really is... Even I thought he might be smarter than this... He talks about Sen.Obama's lack of Judgement... IS HE KIDDING himself? Picking this woman as his running mate shows the Whole World that it is Sen.McCain who lacks judgement on every issue
