Wow. This story a lot of loose threads, such as:
1)The man found dead manages to obtain and then transport the cyanide to Denver hotel room, but then screws-up and accidentally kills himself?
2)The man found dead has an Arab sounding name, making it appear terrorism related, but is what, planning to attack the Dem. convention? Wouldn't such a person more likely want to attack the Republican convention?
3)Why I haven't I heard about this on TV?

It reminds me of the early days of the anthrax attacks- the first fatality (a tabloid editor in FL) died of non-terror-related anthrax, or so it was said, to universal disbelief;
the main targets of the anthrax attacks were Dems (Sens. Leahy and Daschle);
and the crude attempts to pin it on al Qaeda (the anthrax perpetrator's childish notes, and the ridiculous blogs here purporting to be written by the dead man.)
The FBI is investigating this with the Mounties. Good thing, because the FBI have no credibility whatsoever after their epic bungling- deliberate or not- of the anthrax case itself, which I consider in no way solved.
