Powell is the only one who would do McCain any good. Hillary wouldn't do it and Rice is a loser.

Powell won't do it. He was used as a token moderate before by Bush. Whenever the GOP gets into trouble, they want Colin around to make them look good. I think he'll be endorsing Obama.
Rice sucks. I hope they pick her. She's an idiot and heavily tarnished by being tied to Bush.
Hillary would be fun. The GOP hates her to their core. They pretended to like her just to drag out the primary, but they loathe her.

If Powell endorses Obama I would plead with him to do it DURING the Repub Convention. Talk about stealing t he media spotlight.

Condi and Powell would be cast as architects of the war... Powell -- who used to have reasonable relations across the party lines -- lost it with his performance at the United Nations.
As for Hillary... do you really think she wants to be the Lieberman in a pantsuit?
