McCain Would Rather Win an Election that Select a Capable VP
Sarah Palin! I mean c'mon. She makes Dan Quayle look like a Rhodes Scholar. She has no national experience, no experience in a major political office, a pro-life agenda that is truly scary... I mean c'mon McCain. Is this putting your country first!
In all fairness, I would rather have Palin as President than McCain. I view her lack of experience and belated pragmatism as positive signs. Is she a comforting figure to be waiting in the wings when Senor Dementia goes off the deep end? Hell NO!
What was McCain thinking?

With one stroke, John McCain just made Barack Obama the safe, sensible, obvious, low-risk choice for Independents voting for President in 2008. Even if Sarah Palin turns out to be a sharp campaigner, any thinking person is going to be wary of someone so inexperienced and untested being a heartbeat away from the Presidency. If McCain is this foolish with the VP pick, how can he be trusted with "the Button?"
