Glad you posted this. I watched the segment and have been fuming all morning. That smug, arrogant... Ugh. Can't wait for him to be out of power. He'll probably retire after this term which is too bad. I want to see him run for re-election and lose.

I agree. I haven't been this annoyed watching TV since Dennis Miller had his show. It wasn't just Lieberman, either. Brokaw was pretty bad. My personal favorite sample of Brokaw's hard hitting journalism for the morning was:
"Senator Kerry, why is it so hard for Democrats to say the surge worked?"
