It Won't Even Be Close

Obama needs to focus on these issues health care, economy, jobs, gasoline prices, food prices, housing, college aid and energy! This is what this election is truly about.

Celebrity ads, THE ONE, et al are distractions from the meat and potatoe issues that families are dealing with. McFuddle has no plans for these problems and he and the GOP are toast if this message gets thru all the haze from McFuddle.

When Obama drives this message home then the election is his and it won't be even close!

You might get some potshots for being too optimistic, but I like your attitude better than some of the angst and despair I see on this site.

Bozo the clown could beat McCain this year. Oh. Come to think of it, he will.

Rather than vacationing in Hawaii, Obama ought to take the wife and kids and go backpacking in the Rocky Mountains, those of Montana specifically.
They should do some fishing and canoeing as well. Perhaps even some climbing lessons.

His Grandmother is not in the mountains.

This is definitely true. Obama needs to change the focus from himself to the American people. He needs to change the narrative from what's wrong with the candidates, to what's wrong with the country. All the things you mention are a part of that. If he can do that, McCain is done for.

For a young man of such tender years you are amazingly perceptive...I enjoy your posts and comments tremendously.

Thank you. I'm quite speechless. But really, thank you.

NO,

It does not matter what Obama says if he is not seen as credible.

The republicans are trying to get people to stop teh public from listening to Obama by reducing his credibility.

They are telling the public to use their common sense, inflating tires is not going to change the price of gas but drilling will. If Obama is wrong on this he is wrong on the economy and everything else. It is an issue the public can grasp easily and quickly.

We need to calmly put and keep the fact in front of the people. We need to support Obama and tell the public: he graduated from Harvard a well respected university. He taught at the University of Chicago a conservative university known for economic excellence: Antonin Scalia taught there; Judge Posner taught there, Milton Freidman taught there; Thaler is teaching there. He has been known to democrats for years. He gave the 2004 Key note speech, so he was well known then. He is like Jack Abramoff, republicans all knew him but the public did not find out about him until he started making news for bribery and corruption.

We need to tell the public they can trust the republicans just as much as they did Bush, Delay, Larry Craig, (other names as needed).

We need to keep the public from thinking “Who cares what Obama says about health care if you don’t think he can be trusted and you know he is going to raise your tax

You've got it exactly right and I think his team knows it. I expect a double digit win (making the pollsters wrong again!)
