Hillary Speech Affect - Botox
I just finished watching Hillary's speech courtesy of TPM. I thought she gave a great speech reminding her supporters that if they support democratic values, they should vote for obama. couple digs at the republicans and bush failed policies, gracious thank you. all in all very good.
but, the pundits who say her heart wasn't in it are reacting to a strange affect I noticed right away, but couldn't put my finger on. Then it hit me.
Botox.
Hillary is all botoxed up for her big appearance and I think it had the effect of freezing her face so that it was difficult for her to convey emotion.
This is deep in the convention weeds, but it makes sense to me.
The speech was good and the delivery animated, but it was like she'd had root canal. Her face did not move.
Just a thought.
