Doesn't it hurt?
I really cant imagine what the point is.
A month of dragging out the impression that Obama really likes Bayh & Kaine & Hagel, and then even if it goes to Biden or Hillary, haven't we been chewing on leather soles for over a month? How do we get the taste out? Any thought that Hillary would be an ameliorating force has disappeared in 2 1/2 months of VP indecision and continual posturing and positioning to the right. Clark got sent to the doghouse for questioning McCain's POW=Presidential equation even while Obama continues to build up McCain by thinking he's tearing him down. I get it already - Obama will make his own decision and his own mistakes. Caroline Kennedy can help him choose, the rest of us can't. But he'll send me an SMS when he decides, revealing the subliminal message behind whatever state he's announcing in. Perhaps I'll get a free Diet Coke as well, or if lucky and homeless in Denver, a haircut and a movie to boot. Once upon a time Democrats would have tried to give the homeless a voice. But now we have to be concerned about the optics. From railroad & cattle town to shining city on the hill, it requires serious message control., no room for '68 style anarchy. The whole world is watching.
And yeah, my previous post was better. Dem's the breaks.

Any thought that Hillary would be an ameliorating force was delusional. We should thank our lucky stars we're only seeing occasional GOP ads with Hillary's endorsements of McCain, rather than having Hillary-luvs-McCain-more-than-Obama ads and Tuzla! Tuzla! Tuzla! ads wall-to-wall on the MSM, except for when the MSM would have been digging into allegations and rumors of Bill's recent infidelities and meta-stories about whether covering those allegations of infidelities was justified in light of the recent revelations about Edwards.
Although at least in that scenario it would have been hard for McCain to play the celebrity card on Obama since Obama would have been pushed off the airwaves by Tuzla! Tuzla! Tuzla! and Hillary-luvs-McCain and Bill! Bill! Bill!. So there's a silver lining.

Of course it's chain-pulling marketing. That's why I completely ignore all the speculative chatter about picking a Veep. Bunch of phony, manipulative crap. Make ya crazy.
IMO, it's better to focus on an totally unrelated hobby and completely tune out this part of the campaign. Wait it out. Why waste valuable energy on it?

I'm not interested in debating the point. I just want to be on record before the great text message announcement. Hillary Clinton should be the nominee for vice president, and not because I supported her in the primaries. I can live with any of the possible choices (even Bill Richardson), but nobody will energize this campaign and unify the Democrats like Hillary Clinton can. I don't think it takes a political expert to corroborate my two bits of wisdom. I think what I'm saying is consistent with what everyone except for the most stubborn of the stubborn Hillary haters are thinking right now.
