His smile. I see it and melt. Playful, charming, romantic, gleeful. I git all giddy
His strength. A lesser man might have stopped reading "My Pet Goat," but not him. He sees things through to the finish, no matter what that finish is.
He's just like me, a regular guy. Except for the part of growing up a rich senator's kid, or getting out of Vietnam, or doing cocaine and getting DWIs, and having my dad hand me a oil company's board position and then having to leave it, and being handed a pro baseball team, and you know, being a governor and president and stuff. Other than that, he's just like me. I'd like to serve a guy like me.
He's courageous. he stands up for whatevr he beleives at the moment with all his heart.
Did I mention his smile? Okay.
And God told me to. Or he told my preacher, and my preacher told me. same difference, right?

If you ever saw Lewis Black's old, old special, he said that the stupidest thing he ever heard was the sentence, "If it weren't for my horse, I never would have spent that year in college."
I can't think of anything stupider than, "What is it about George W. Bush that makes you want to serve him?"
I'm afraid it might give me an aneurysm.
