The Love Add
So I am guessing from McCain's new ad...He has an issue with the Make Love - Not War generation. I have heard him state before that we should not have left Vietnam. Will his continued critisim of the 60's generation...be a problem. The demonstrations of the 60s had a big impact on the public opinion and ending the war. It had a lot of negative impact on the views of the military which we don't want repeated. But I am not so sure this tactic is good for McCain. Is he opposed to love along with hope?

They're trying to frame Obama as the new George McGovern. Nothing stirs up wingers like the thought of a bunch of dirty hippies with the power to vote. The ad makes no sense to liberals, but I'm sure it's got a nice ring to it if you're a winger. Prolly gits you all riled up and shit.

They're also pointing out that Obama doesn't even remember half of the 60's, due to his tender age at the time.
