Obama - Press Conference in Paris - Obama nailed it...
I was born and raised in France. I have been living in the US for over 6 years, and my green card is on the way...
Sadly, I won't be able to vote in the US this year..
I am happy to report that I just saw the press conference on the French media as well as on MSNBC...
Well, Senator Obama is getting better by the day. His speech yesterday was flawless.
His press conference with Nicolas Sarkozy was even better. This guy just rocks...He is so brilliant, relax and cool...
You can tell that if Senator Obama is elected, the relationship between France and the US will reach some new levels...
And for the critics, the press conference was very substantive...
Another major win for Senator Obama.
It is great to see that Nicolas Sarkozy agrees on Obama's policy about Afghanistan...
It feels good to be a citizen of the world today..

Obama's use of "People of the world..." was particularly masterful. For him to be seen addressing the world positions him as a true leader. Substantive speech, as well as great campaigning. Wish I'd seen the press conference with Sarkozy.

excerpt:
"French President Nicolas Sarkozy all but endorsed Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, for president.
"Obviously one is interested in a candidate looking towards the future rather than the past," Sarkozy said"

Honestly, I was so surprised, and he now masters the press conference. It was such a powerful moment...
And to have Sarkozy agreeing on Afghanistan policy with Senator Obama...
So amazing...

You know that an endorsement from the French is something that the Faux idiots will use against him. But we know better. I hope the American people will get the message, but it may be up to us to help out, since the media will only echo the Republican smears and verbal turds for them, ad nauseum. Sad, but almost inevitable.

As we speak, Fred Barnes and Brit Hume sip virgin strawberry daiquiris at an undisclosed D.C. Applebees, plotting their next move. "More freedom-fries, toots!"

well, it is important to notice that the French president is on the conservative side, so it would hard for the Republicans to attack Senator Obama...

I wouldn't bet on it, but I certainly hope you're right. At least I haven't read anything about it yet.

Yeah; you're really a Dem. Just goes to show how low trolls will go. I personally couldn't go to a right-leaning place and put in a bunch of fake credentials for myself but, hey! I guess that is how you earn your $5 paycheck.
This quote of yours is really rich:
"Obama actually struggles bigtime unless he is reading a prepared speach. McCain will eat him alive. Funny people on this blog are talking about Bush being a Cokehead. Well so is Obama. They were both doing blow while McCain was a Prisoner of War."
Your hero, John McCain is such a speechifier! Yes, he is eating Obama alive every day! Like the day Obama gave his speech in Berlin to 200,000 people and McCain went to a German sausage restaurant in Ohio. McCain had the bad "luck" to crash 5 planes and to get shot down as he was bombing vills in Vietnam.
Now he is an old coot who should be heading into Assisted Living. I wouldn't lend him my car; I wouldn't let him take care of my children; I wouldn't trust him to run a hot-dog stand -- would YOU?
dembillc -- you are an embicile and a fake.

I see the Republicans haters trolls have not packed up yet...
And the great news to report is that all leaders have been impressed by Senator Obama, even Sarkozy did not agree to have a press conference with McBushSame...
That does say it all...
And the French media: from both sides of the political spectrum have only positive comments about Senator Obama.
I think the McBushSame campaign is bitter much. They were expecting Senator Obama to make some gaffes...He did not, so the only option they have is to bash Senator Obama.
At this point, they don't have even any argument...
ooops I forgot: IT IS THE SURGE!!!
Thanks for the support of the true democrats

I watched the Presser today with Sarkozy. It is such a warming experience to watch someone represent my country that can speak thoughtfully, articulately and knowledgeably about foreign affairs, history and the future. After nearly eight years of enduring a beligerant, inarticulate, uninformed blowhard, I am beginning to feel better about what the future holds for my grandchildren. I recall the many times when Bush stood will Blair and Blair spoke fluently while Bush made an ass of himself and embarrassed our nation. It will wonderful if we can be proud again. Please, no McCain! He is as painful and as factually impaired to listen to as Bush.

Watching the press conference live, I gasped when Sarkozy said he would follow Obama's lead...regarding the protocol for answering questions. This is the president of France and he graciously demurred to Obama, but I was taken aback by the the symbolism.
If there is anyone who doubts Obama is too inexperienced to be commander-in-chief, get on the Conestoga with McCain and Bush as they roll off into the sunset.

I felt that the press conference in Paris was even more successful than the Berlin speech, because to me it was more powerful...
I know it is hard to believe but the fact he was beside a world leader, because of the "endorsement" of the French president...
I also follow up by looking at the French media reports today. And they report of the triumph of Barack Obama during his tour:)

Am I the only one who found Obama to seem more Presidential than President Sarkozy? Of course, he barely ever seems Presidential. He really only did during the Election in 2007.
Still, though I have little respect for the guy, I was still happy to see the obvious amiability between him and Obama. And I do respect his desire to see better relations between the United States and France, because not only is it a desire I share, but I think it's a desire Obama shares as well.

Not sure it's such a great endorsement when "l'Americain" (the French one) is a sleazy, opportunistic politician who used to Sar-cosy up to Dubya (as the French replacement poodle) before it became a political liability.
The true challenge is for Obama to meet with Putin/Medvedev.
