Memphis For Obama 08
I went to a meeting of Memphis For Obama 08 tonight where we planned our continuing voter registration efforts. What did you do to help your prefered candidate (if you have one)?

Where did you meet? What was the turnout like? I live in Memphis and I am trying to get more involved.

We met at the Binghampton Community center. There were arround twenty people there. There were some people with some strong skillsets in data management and organization. It was the first meeting I have been to that made me think we are going to get something done.
They asigned coverage areas of the city. We will be calling people and organizing events. I am going to be doing voter registration in Midtown. There will be stuff set up on myobama.com starting tomarrow. We can use the tools there to contact people who have signed up indicating that they wish to help.

Signed up to be contributor for state platform for Dems - Obama and to be on community committee for same.
