Okay, I know we are commenting ad nauseam on McCain's umteenth attack ad, but in searching for anything else to read about I ran across William Bradley's post 13 Things To Know About The 3rd Straight Mac Attack Ad on the Huffington Post.  It was written two days ago, and I wish I would have read it then.  It succinctly states what myriad of posts have collectively tried to verbalize.

He writes a well organized, comprehensive list addressing all of the false statements and misleading content, but what really made me hesitate was the clip at the end of the post.

I watched the clip of Obama talking to some troops in the gym.  You know, the place where McCain's ad showed him shooting a 3 pointer?   Take a look:

I think that showing the full clip would have slammed McCain's credibility, because it shows Obama hanging with the troops, shaking hands and thanking them for their service.  Still, even when faced with a miserable attack ad which used a snippet from the clip to support the misrepresentation he doesn't use it as his response.

Is he really such a good guy that he wouldn't use the clip to vindicate himself because it would politicize the troops or am I missing something here?
