McCain discloses when Obama will be in Iraq...
DETROIT (Reuters) - Republican presidential candidate John McCain said on Friday that his Democratic opponent, Barack Obama, is likely to be in Iraq over the weekend.

The Obama campaign has tried to cloak the Illinois
senator's trip in some measure of secrecy for security reasons.
The White House, State Department and Pentagon do not announce
senior officials' visits to Iraq in advance.
"I believe that either today or tomorrow -- and I'm not
privy to his schedule -- Sen. Obama will be landing in Iraq
with some other senators" who make up a congressional
delegation, McCain told a campaign fund-raising luncheon.

That is ridiculous and is putting Obama's safety and security at risk. Didn't Geraldo Rivera almost get lynched in Iraq by US Military for giving away troop movement in a in-the-sand drawing? I can't believe McCain wouldn't know any better.

There is another thread today in which the discussion is about heroism, what defines a hero, and whether or not McCain's POW experience qualifies him as one.
If the definition of a hero is he, or she, who is willing to sacrifice his/her own safety for the sake of another or others, then McCain may have qualified as a POW (if it is true that he was offered early release and refused it as a gesture of solidarity with his fellow POWs.)
However, the inverse would appear to be true today, in the context of revealing Obama's travel plans. This doesn't make McCain an anti-hero; rather, it makes him at least an opportunist of the most craven variety, and at worst, some kind of traitor.
Presumably, this will be ignored by the MSM. But imagine if the situation were reversed. Then we would hear howling, not only about endangering McCain, but also about a textbook illustration of not having enough experience or judgement to be CIC.

Yes McCain violated opsec, a very serious matter,
but also question the reporters who put the info into print (Reporting by Steve Holland, editing by Vicki Allen)
and the petty, pro-McCain reporting in the rest of the article, which rehashes the whole "betray-us" bllsht for starters
