Impeachment: Conyers "Seriously" Affirms "Duty" On Impeachment Allegations
The Chairman of the Judiciary Committee has allegedly made a statement contrary to his interests. This statement may be entered into evidence before a war crimes tribunal.
Did the House Judiciary Chairman's conduct satisfy the elements for a war crimes conviction on the grounds of malfeasance?
The Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee made an important statment. He has established/confirmed/asserted that the Judiciary Committee has a "duty" (his word) on impeachable offenses.
This is the Committee Chairman's position on impeachment allegations. The rules of evidence permit this statement to be entered before a war crimes tribunal:
"We take these allegations and our duty to respond to them very seriously"
In this statement, the Chairman has not specifically address the allegations of war crimes against the President.
This should prompt the public to ask the Speaker, Members of the House, Chairman, and the House Judiciary Committee:
What about other, more serious allegations on other impeachment cases: Is it not also the duty of the Committee to take those allegations against the President and Vice President seriously?
"Duty" is an imprtant factor in reviewing allegations of malfeasance against Members of Congress. A war crimes tribunal may consider whether the Members of Congress knew, or should have know, that a failure to perform one's duty could be malfeasance.
This Precedent may guide the court in adjudicating whether a member of Congress has or has not fully met their legal obligations under their oath of office, 5 USC 3331:
"An agency may also remove an SES employee under section 7543 for: "misconduct, neglect of duty, malfeasance" 820 F.2d 396A failure to act, despite a known-asserted duty to act, is important. Nuremberg links the idea of malfeasance, war crimes, and adjudication for war crimes through impeachment or prosecution:
"Under any civilized judicial system he could have been impeached and removed from office or convicted of malfeasance"
The House Judiciary Committee has a duty to seriously confront the allegations of war crimes against the President and Vice President.
What You Can Do
These are important developments.
The public must remind the Chairman that he has a duty to take seriously the Kucinich impeachment resolution aainst the President and Vice President;
The public must pressure the House to remove Pelosi as speaker because of her decision -- in contavention to the law, her duty, and Nuremberg precedents -- to not seriously take these allegations, refusing to permit an impeachment investigation ("Impeachment is off the table"); and
The public -- absent action from the House Judiciary, Members of the House, Chairman Conyers, or Speaker Pelosi (Turley: "Collusion") -- must work with local prosecutors to directly prosecute this sitting President and Vice President, outside Congerss, outside impeachment.

Always informative posts, testing. But how does the public force these issues in a way that's more effective. Calls, emails to reps are always good.
Can the public bring a case against the government for not pursuing impeachment?

Reading your stuff is like listening to a broken record. There will be no war crimes tribunal. The appropriate process is impeachment or censorship proceedings.
I realize that you only appear to have reference info on Geneva, but you really should attempt to learn the process of the American civics processes that have governed our nation for well over 200 years.
Your constant claims of war crimes and calls for tribunals add little to no value to the issue at hand.

You're wrong. War crimes do not have to be done in American courts. That is why there is a world court. It is unlikely that Bush and his criminal cohorts will ever be held accountable in the US. That does not mean they will never be held accountable. Maybe and maybe not. But the possibility is there.

No Joanne, I am not wrong. Prior administration have had members charged with alleged war crimes and nothing happens. I believe Kissinger was charged with such actions. In short, nothing happens.
The simple fact is the majority of Americans will not support a world court attempting to interfering within our civics system. If a world court attempts to do what you suggest, Bush and co. will garner sympathy of the populace/masses. Not a good move at all.
We have less than six more months of these incompetent individuals in this administration. We need to work to get Obama elected and then push the new AG to fixed all the executive orders and other moves by the prior administration not on the up and up.

No harm taken. I am neither a member or supporter of the federalist society. I personally have issues with testing attempting to slander and defame me as he does. The guy hates the fact some people out there hold him to the facts.

Your slander of Obama is unnecessary and unfounded. It truly demonstrates a lack of understanding the issues and/or understanding the facts at hand at all.
Second, this is a TPM blog that is put in place to spark debate not stifle it. I find constant push by wack jobs such as yourself and testing to stop debate because others such as myself point out the absurdity and idiocracy of your claims unfortunate and sad.
As for war crimes, it won't happen. It is sad you are living in denial, but such denial won't change the facts.
Perhaps it would be best if you simply go climb back under the rock you came up from.

There will be no war crimes tribunals, etc. Unless Bush and co. invade another country, nothing will happen. If they do invade Iran, I hesitate to speculate on what will occur.
As for your attempt to stop debate, you should be ashamed of yourself. The simple fact is on multiple occasions, I have pointed out the facts to the individual who goes by teh name testing, yet he or she intentionally continues to post false information. His or her pseudo self referential attempts at legal analysis are also poorly done and lack diligence and accuracy.
I can understand to the untrained eye or someone like yourself with their own personal agenda how you can latch on to such individuals as testing. After all, it is not surprising to see people of weak minded nature latch on to cult leaders. So you and testing's relationship, seems to be easily understood under such guise as well.

Since you opened with an attack on me personally while I have being one to promote debate have only pushed the facts in testing's illogical fictional rants, I will comment on your background.
You appear to have had some interesting experiences as a stenographer and as a self appointed addiction specialist, however you are not the next best thing to slice bread as you put yourself out there to be. Humility is something you should learn.
As for you zealous push for war crimes, impeachment, etc., where will you go in a few months when Obama is president? Just another great benefit of having a democrat in office after this administration. crazed zealots like you will be pushed to the back burner where you belong.
I've had to read illogical comments from a few of you these past few days that argue for show trials etc. opposed to simply fixing the issues of the prior administration and moving on with the nation's business. many seem to fail to comprehend all the issues are nation is facing due to incompetent people running it for eight years. That is and where the focus will be on fixing these next few years.

As for projected taunts, you should read your own writing. As for reporting, I have already taken the liberty of reporting you to the TPM Administrators. Before today, I had no idea who you are. Now I see you are a shrill human being that gets pleasure in attacking others with viewpoints that differ from you and others who point out the facts.
It is unfortunate that you appear to discuss the allegations of testing that the Wecht Jury was allegedly tampered with and now you claim it was fixed. Such is false and demonstrates your outright lack of understanding of the case. There was no fix or jury tampering. There was a violation of a judge order alleged due to contact occuring with former jury members by the FBI.
Look forward to your next crazed response. You can take your threats of your "so-called" lawyers and punt for all I care. You can not stifle debate and I for one will not let you push misinformation as you are attempting to due here.
