I told you he hates old people.
Warning: The following post is a gratuitous groin kick at the McCain Campaign mostly for my own aggrandizement and entertainment. Political value is questionable.
Last week I posted a laundry list of issues and/or observations about Johnny Mac that I found unacceptable and vaguely nefarious.
My suspicion about item #26 has been confirmed.
Hates dogs and old people.
The MSM media has superficially covered this story with the same kid gloves approach to the entire McCain campaign. I suppose this story is not as vital to our national interest as say the hoopla over Obama’s photo-op with a few hijab wearing supporters.
I applaud the MSM for their ability to once again remain sedated when Rovian tactics are implemented against constitutional rights. O’l Schmidity has learned well from his dark master.
My suggestion to Mrs. Kreck for a new sign to go with McCain = Bush.
The Straight Talk Express = 1st Amendment Free Zone
I await the Senator’s apology to Mrs. Kreck.

"McCain, of course, also out there. In Denver, a 60 year-old woman was kicked out of a John McCain rally for heckling him. Yeah, afterwards McCain said 'I'm just not popular with young women.'" --Conan O'Brien

Of course this is politically relevant. It's the kind of censorship that Bush has exercised throughout his dubious tenure, and it's as anti-American as it gets. But he got a free pass on it for almost 8 years, and it's just another example of how these people are not interested in any of us if we don't just line up like sheeple and think/do what they say.
Having said that, how would the Obama campaign respond to a protester at one of their events? Would they welcome them or try to get rid of them? (I'm not thinking of the headscarf issue, since that was done by some overzealous staffers, and not at the behest of Obama or his senior organizers.)

How often do you think this happens at Obama appearances? I can't imagine what would be an equal insult. "Obama = Bill Clinton" or "Obama = Carter" would probably just be ignored or greeted with a curious "So what's wrong with that, or what's your point?" "Obama = Gore" would probably be greeted with smiles but when you stop and think it about it, it could be taken as a threat, as in "Gore was more popular too but still lost."
"Obama = Osama" would probably get his or her ass kicked before being kicked out.
The point I'm making is there are lots of reasons to kick out potential troublemakers at an event. You don't want any of your supporters indicted on a murder rap for one.
That said it's pathetic that equating the sitting president with his own party's candidate to succeed him is considered an insult. Mt. Bush is a hill McCain needs a rocket powered mountain bike to climb.
