HUB Zone Hearing Today
Rep Nydia M Velazquez (D-NY), who chairs the House Committee on Small Business, will be holding a hearing today, Thursday, 7/17/08, on HUB Zones. This thing has legs if Velazquex or anyone else really wants to take it for a walk.
Brent Wilkes, Shirlington Limo & the alleged poker party hookers were tied to this program.
The Abramoff young guns worked for lobbyist Abbe Buck while she heavily advertised this program.
Businesses located on Indian Reservation property was the sell, and Fort Hurcheria, Arizona, was one of the HUB Zones. It just so happens that this is where the Interior Department handed out contracts.
This seems to run parallel to the investigation of the Air Force contracts awarded by Interior to non-profit & faith based inititative contract winner Commonwealth Research Institute.
This could get real interesting, but more than likely will just roll off the table like war crimes, a total corruption of the justice system, mind boggling massive theft & impeachment.

Just wanted to add an interesting tid-bit.
US Attorneys have sole authority in prosecuting felonies on Indian reservations.
