Wayne Curtis Weldon registered -
Jenkins Hill International LLC (a Deleware Corporation) on 9/20/07
J. Hill International (a fictitious name) on 9/20/07
Jenkins Hill Limited LLC (a Pennsylvania LLC) on 12/19/07
The business address for all of these entities is listed as 4687 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073
That may or may not be a legitimate address. It appears to be in the vicinity of the "Olde Masters Golf Club."

Thanks, CR. I saw what I thought was a little shopping center when I looked at google street level. The address is five miles from Weldon's house which is convenient for him.
His business partner, Howard Butcher IV, lives in Newtown Square. Read his bio on the Aforesearch site. Energy, precious mmetals etc.
I asume you read Sharon Weinberger's 7/3/08 story about Weldon's trip to Libya. If you did, I'm sure you noticed that he visited with the royal family in Kuwait for four days. I wonder why he is putting the arm on them now. Looking for a major infusion of cash into his fund, perhaps?
Butcher and a Charles Gaudioso accompanied Weldon on Libyan trip. Gaudioso is a consultant in the Delaware Valley and heads Chadds Ford Ventures. He also lives in the Delaware Valley.
Neither Butcher nor Gaudioso were big contributors to Weldon's or any other campaign.
I'm thinking of doing an update on Dynamic Defense materials now that Weldon is on board. I still can't figure out where all the money is coming from since, as far as I know, they don't actually sell ceramic inserts for body armor yet.
I don't know makes DDM's portable wall systems.
The last I checked, a senior executive from DuPont was going to become DDM president. I assumke Robert Lipinski is chairman of the board.

More on New Star Technologies and Aforesearch:
The Illinois Secretary of State corporate database is down at the moment but last night, I found New Star Technologies LLC, 4688 E 29th St, Sandwich (close to Chicago) IL, registered in 2007. Dopey me forgot to save a copy of the reg.
Several businesses are registered to Stephen Felperin and Albert "Buck" Kolkmeyer at the Sandwich address. Most of the businesses have to do with movie theaters.
Kolkmeyer and Felperin appear to be partners in Nova Cinetech Inc. which specializes in placing theaters in underserved areas around the country.
Kolkmeyer, oddly enough, is also a registered dealer for Computrols, a privately held Louisiana-based building automation company. Computrols' projects are in major US cities and Russia.
I also learned that Aforesearch may be funded, at least in part, by the Cypress Capital Group of Palm Beach County FL. Aforesearch CFo, Shelly Lyn Rostosky, was appointed v.p. of Cypress Capital last year.
Barry G. Hoyt, one of the Cypress Capital partners, appears to be based in Chicago.
More to come.

Scratch that last comment. Shelly Rostosky was AFO Research CFO long before she moved to Florida.
She was the only link to Cyrpess Capital Group.
New Star Technologies LLC in Sandwich IL was registered in 2004, not 2007. I have no evidence whatsoever that Weldon is associated with this company.

AFO Research LLC was registered in California in 2001.
Jack Illare, AFO Research president and co-founder, was with Whale Securities during the '90s. Whale Securities was a schlock house pushing penny stocks and Illare himself got snagged by the SEC a few times.
Illare appears to have moved from NYC to Vero Beach FL in either 2000 or 2001. He then went into the real estate business but things don't seem to have gone well for him financially lately.
I have no idea how Illare got involved with a couple of Armenian scientists studying specialty optics. Nor can I figure out how the company has been funded since 2001.
AFO Research is listed on the CIS ISTC website as a partner in a proposed project that hasn't been funded yet.
Dynamic Defense Materials now claims to have developed glass body armor. Maybe that's why Weldon et al got involved with AFO Research.

BTW, Matthew Gohd, a Whale Securities director, managed Robert Torricelli's not-so blind trust. Torricelli's trust was managed in the same way Stratton Oakmont managed Alphonse D'Amato's account.

A New-Star Technologies, Inc. was registered in Delaware on 3/23/98. No other information is available (to me anyway).
Kronos Fund Partners, LP was registered in Delaware on 1/17/02. Again, I have no other info.
