avatar

A reporter in Ireland asks Bush about Iraq in 2004.  She doesn't back down and Bush gets a little testy and demonstrates that he is in a world all his own.

What astonishing, steady integrity that Irish journalist exhibited. Do we have any broadcast journalist, male or female, who would have done so well? No need to comment on Bush, other than to say it is no surprise this interview has not been shown.
Thanks for the link.

The rest of the story. Laura Bush was scheduled to be interviewed by the same Irish journalist on the following day. President Bush was so furious at having been asked real questions that they refused to let the Irish Journalist interview Laura, so the White House canceled it. Think about that folks: Bush is telling the world all about the wonders of American rights, such as a Free Press, and Freedom of Speech, and then he goes to Ireland, and throws a hissy fit because the Irish media did not surrender their journalist integrity.

I almost forgot what a good journalist is supposed to do until I saw this clip.

Bush could have never sold the Iraq war to citizens in Ireland.

More proof that we have the equivalent of a state-sponsored media here in America.

It looks like Bush really does believe his bullshit rationale for the war.
