John McCain seems never to tire of insulting Americans'
intelligence.
He's now proposing a $300
million prize ($1 for every human being in the country - cute until you
realize it's taxpayer money) for whomever can develop an automobile battery
that far surpasses existing technology - and at 30% of current costs.
Are we so cynical that we need to bribe Americans for their ingenuity? Or, more
likely, does McCain think we don't see what a naked
pander this is?
What's next? Join the military and get the chance to win a Buick?

Ah Geez. Well, at least he's giving us a big old preview of exactly what we could expect from him in a Presidency. Is it really possible to be a bigger idiot than George W?
