Can you undo immunity, however?

No. And I'm pretty sure that the courts wouldn't let congress do that if they tried.

And heck, as anti-immunity as I am even I see it'd be unfair to tell people that they're off the hook one minute and that they're back on the hook the next. Not the kind of legal system any of us would really want.

Actually, the courts would probably not let Congress give the immunity either :)

I am not too concerned about that aspect, honestly. There are other ways to remedy their crimes. I think the wiretapping law itself is the far more important piece.

Agreed, at least on the last point. (I don't trust the courts too much.)
