RepublicanMarket.com...Busted!

On the TPM front page the AP has reported that the GOP has responded to the misguided inclusion of RepublicanMarket.com as a vendor to it's conventions  The vendor will be barred form future participation at it's conventions.

The Texas GOP at it's website has responded that bigotry will not be tolerated and will donate proceeds from RepublicanMarket. to the flood victims in the Midwest.

RepublicanMarket.com is still not answering phone calls.

PC fist bump to all the armchair activist that participated in promoting another change in direction.

But Quasar, yesterday you taught me that all Texas Republicans were racists. You're feeding me too many dissonant cognitions. I think I'll have to lie down for a spell. Maybe listen to a little music.

I said that the Texas GOP was showing indifference in their first press release covering the matter. Their willingness to have oversight as to the type of message that is delivered by their contracts is important.

And still, Texan Republicans are overtly race conscious.

But I did like the Rick Roll. Even tho Rick Rollin' is an old asshat. Like the beanie on your head. Both had me laughin'. Seriously.

That beanie is all the hair I got, thanks.

Maybe you should reread your posts and the ones you were attacking, and see if you can figure out where your true feelings lie. I know I can't. You seem so caught up in your own self gratification that you don't seem to care about what you say or who you're saying it to --- so long as you're saying it.

And, trust me, you and those like you had no hand in this development. You may know how to speak, but you have no idea how to be heard.

Sorry if I haven't been clear and as Rabbitsmorgbord would say I haven't addressed your concerns, concerns, CONCERNS, concerns concerns, concerns... This should explain...

I called them yesterday. I'm in the UK, but I didn't mind the charges ;)

I was redirected to the number (407) 666-4091 (loving the 666) where I put on my best 'country' accent and asked for Johnathan. He affirmed that it was he and so I said, "I want to thank you." to which he replied, "I appreciate that." and so I continued, "I wanted to say thank you for doing all you can to keep McCain out of the White House you ignorant b*****d of racist trash!". He said "What?!", but I just hung up the phone. (he wasn't worth THAT much of a long distance charge :P)

I hope I made his day [sic] though I doubt he cared. But it made me feel much better. :)

This is the first time I've seen someone put [sic] in their own writing. I thought the [sic] notation was supposed to be used in quoted material.

Is that an expression of your sense of humor, Diego?

Got a call from the Executive Director of the Texas Republican Party @6:35 central.

Mostly apologetic. Showing complete exhaustion and anxiety at the circumstances. With this debacle (his word), I see that there has been a conscientious attempt at being more socially aware not only of the platform but the leaderships responsibility to their constituent's image as Republicans.

I stated that taking them to task on matters such as this are justified and necessary at the least for clarification.

It was an open honest conversation lasting about 15 minutes with him offering his direct line for future concerns.

Also, only 4 buttons have been accounted as being sold. One was to the reporter of the Dallas Morning News where the story broke.

Apparently some type of limited production or "special promotion" by RepublicanMarket.

It wasn't until after the firestorm that the TRP actually looked at the website of RepublicanMarket. Which may lead one back to the marketing policies and efficiency of oversight. But as stated the TRP is putting their foot down to avoid this type of re-occurrence at the NRP convention.

O...
And I did name drop George Clinton and all I heard were crickets.

I sent emails, made calls and signed the petition about that horrific 'black and white' button.
Now I'm waiting for McCain to go public with his condemnation of this travesty. (No, I won't hold my breath.)

Fist bump'd.
