Kucinich's antics are a complete and total irrelevance. They will do nothing to end the war in Iraq; worse, they make these morally bankrupt Congressional idiots feel like they are doing something substantial by arguing about a totally pointless initiative. Meanwhile the killing goes on in Iraq. See the next post down the list.

Well there is that, and come to think of it, this whole show might embarrass G.W., might worry him a bit, might annoy him and the rest of the Bush clan, so that's a good thing. I wonder how many Presidents have gotten to the point of having articles of impeachment introduced on the House floor? A new paragraph for his legacy.

Well, it's now tomorrow and not only is the only article I could find a small AP story with just the very basics, I had to hunt for a reference to it in TPM! I couldn't find it on the TPM home page (aka "the mothership") or Muckraker. The only place I could find it was in the Cafe under Reader Posts!
DKos has it; Huffington Post has it. I have no idea why it's not on TPM's front page. I think an explanation is in order.

Never happen. Wish it would but Pelosi, Reid, et al have thrown their lot in with the "don't make waves before the election and we'll undue Bush II when we have a majority in Congress and Dem Pres." way of thought.

Almost all the Democrats in Congress have steadfastly supported the crimes Bush has committed. Therefore they cannot impeach Bush without displaying their own guilt.

Yeah and for the Repubs who keep on claiming that Obama is the most liberal person in congress, like this is a bad thing, we have Dennis here doing his best for this nation. Bravo Mr Kucinich, I only wish the rest of Congress would wake up and realize what Bush and company have done to this country has not made it more safe nor more secure. This is not simply an issue of dropping the preverbial ball but an issue of neglect, mis-management and manipulation. I hope that people could see that this is the integrity and precedent we expect of our leaders.
