I just received a phone call from an outfit called Western Research (Associates?).  The guy on the other end asked if I was willing to be polled on my opinions.  I told him I first needed to know who was funding the poll.  He told me that he couldn't tell me without biasing the results and hung up.

A quick google turned up a group out of Utah calling themselves Western Research Associates who were linked to push polling in 2006.  Utah immediately triggered my Gordon Smith radar...

Anyway, may have been a push poll, maybe not.  Just a heads up to other Oregonians...
