No more double standards for Barrack Obama!
I woke up today did the usual. Started coffee, got my daughter breakfast. Started a pot of Green Chile that will simmer all day. I sat down at the computer, turned on Russert on the t.v. I hit up the usual sites kos, huffington, TPM. Watching Harol Ickes act like a child today left me less than optimistic about whats going to happen over the next week, but still I was in a pretty good mood. I went back to Huffington and found this link and clicked on it.

After watching the last segment on Obama's Rev problem and thinking back to all the greef he has taken on other people he is supposed to be connected to, I have become (come on everyone, say it with me).....Bitter and Angry!!! I watched this woman call Obama the "inadequate black male!" Now her accusation of Obama I guess may be defended if you were to look up in the dictionary what inadequate means, all though I think it is safe to say based off several factors (the movement, winning Iowa and other states, character, inclusiveness, new direction or dream of the party's direction, handling of campaign, integrity, fund raising, ect..ect...) that he is anything but inadequate, but still I am angry. Obama had to fire someone in his campaing for uttering the words she (HRC) is a monster. He had to denounce and reject Farrakhan. He had to defend connections to Billy Ayers for the Weather Underground crap, and there are several other issues I may note as well as any others may think of. It is my opinion that Hillary is not being held to the same standards in regards to her ridiculous defense of people in her campaign who have made un-welcome comments, or have taken hypocritical stances like Mark Penn, or Geraldine Farraro.
Yes, this rant is going to show that I can't stand the media, and yes people will call me jaded because Obama is my candidate. After all I still do not agree that Obama got destroyed in the debates as so many will tell you, or that Hillary Clinton has been a victim of her gender, or much less a victim in any way. If you believe that HRC supporters, how do you feel that your hero is not tough enough to deal with it, rather she cries foul if she truly believes that. Oh by the way thats a tough leader for you, really presidential. I mean none of her problems are self inflicted, like Iraq war votes, or managing campaigns, lying about sensless things, changing positions to fit her in an election and not being truthful but I digress.
What Im trying to get at is after watching this clip of this woman who supports Hillary say these awful things, and sum up her rant with the most unforgiveable threat..."PRESIDENT McCAIN", and in contrast Obama had to walk away from another church this week because this pastor said things that IRONICALLY paint Hillary as everything the pastor said, has become laughable and at the same time makes me bitter and angry. Where are the grown ups in the party? I can say at least the corporate media has an excuse for allowing the double standards, (Greed, and self preservation). I dont understand what the Super Delegates are waiting for if they dont stop this on June 3rd. Truth be told, I haven't truly understood them for about 2 months now.

What I was trying to say is this womans rant sums up her Candidate of Choice in matching everything that the Pastor said!

As I was watching the protesters for Hillary yesterday, being all vitriolically incoherent, talking about everything from sexism to the nomination being stolen from their respective candidate - I just thought to myself, "What in the fuck are you women so fucking mad at?" Their lumping in the media's sexism to Obama specifically is just downright clumsy, and if they have anyone to be mad at it should be Hillary - with her underestimating Obama by claiming that she'd have the whole affair wrapped up by Super Tuesday, her lack of focus on the caucus states, and an Obama ground game that took hers to the fucking woodshed.
As a black guy myself, I know how incredibly lame it is to play the race card when its not warranted - but for any Democrat to vote for McCain because Hillary isn't the nominee, despite his constant war mongering and his abysmal record on women reproductive rights - there has to be a hidden hatred for black people that they desperately need to work out. That being said, they were voters Obama probably would have never gotten in the first place - screw em'.

You make a couple of good points Humanity. Things I try to convey to people all the time, just like even writting this post. When that woman said those words inadequate black male....just by the nastyness in her voice, my 'racism dar' went up. So I replayed it. I try to tell people that Black People are reluctant to something was racist or not. People like to say that we jump automaticaly to those conclussions, even people in this party as if we dont take time think it out before ever making those accusations. Take the post I started with, I bit off my tongue trying not to go there, and left it out.
As for the women being mad, so much in that. Some are truly not willing to vote for a black candidate, some are truly wanting a woman president before they die. Hell, I will even throw in the some think she is more qualified take. Thing is knowone truly knows what drives them and knowone can say definetively what they are other than a mixture of all the above. Sad part is if they are willing to say things like, "they dont think we will vote for McCain" and use that as a threat in a time of another George Bush, then they truly are not Democrats or progressives. Im optomistic that she is overally sensitve and in November would come to her senses, but if she doesnt, then like you say screw um because they will never change their mind. To tie this back to my topic starter, if it were Obama supporters spewing this non-sense about voting for McCain, the Russerts and Matthews and others would be killing him for that. It would be about how he cant control his supporters. There is none of that talk for Hillary, and it angers me, I mean it really pisses me off that she gets away with this crap!

You realize, of course, to call someone an "inadequate Black male" is both racist and sexist. Hillary's people use the obvious and obnoxious tactic of accusing their opponents of committing the sins that they themselves commit -in Freudian terms, it's called projection. They call Obama's supporters "haters," because they themselves are filled with hate (I'm not referring here to all who support Hillary, only those who hurl these insults and accusations). These unstable individuals who Hillary has drawn into her campaign and whipped into a frenzy need to be quickly and firmly marginalized and neutralized. Identify them as exactly who they are and what they stand for and then move on to the task at hand - to see that our candidate is elected to lead this country in November 2008.

Guys, get the joke. No one, definitely not Mrs Clinton or her supporters, expected this black man let alone any black man to be this smart, well connected or supported. In no way should black men in American be mystified by the fact that this brother can make it to the White House - unscathed. It is an uphill fight for a thankless job. He will be battered and bloodied when it is over. I don't remember any President in my lifetime get great marks as President. As much as I am intrigued and excited about the energy that this political cycle has generated, I am also apprehensive about what we are in for - all American's. Regardless of the fact this man comes to the table with brain power beyond comprehension, his cabinet has proven that they ware willing to stand by him to help make this nation great once again. I pray we can take the heat/ change.

I hope that the Green Chile came out tasty!
I guess I am quite fortunate not to have seen the debate-voting part of yesterday's meeting. It was a peaceful day for me; even if I think the original rules of the campaign should have been upheld...
My take is that such ranting woman was never going to vote for any adequate/inadequate black male/female, no?
She now has a "real" excuse to vote for McCain; the poor thing doesn't even realize that she could abstain or even vote for Nader... She will actually vote against Hillary's policies!!
That's no Hillary supporter.
