Name Names on FightTheSmears.com.
Rachel Maddow said yesterday (I think) on MSNBC that the best way to take down these rumors is to not let them be faceless and to expose those spreading them. Pushing these ugly people out of the shadows and into the public light can have a strong effect on how far individuals are willing to go.
I have to agree and I think that the Obama campaign should add a little more info about the names of the slime balls pushing this crap on the great new website. I know they mention Johnson by name but others should be exposed as well.

Let's start with Roger Stone.
Anyone who sees Roger Stone has to immediately flip the credibility switch to the 'off' position.
Which dirty tricks does he claim credit?
- as a campaign worker for Nixon, he contributed money to a rival candidate in the name of the Young Socialists Alliance, and then passed the receipt to the Manchester Union-Leader in order to "prove" the challenger was really a "left-wing stooge."
- partnered with Charlie Black and Paul Manafort to form the political consulting firm of Black, Manafort, and Stone (later joined by Lee Atwater), which was described as "instrumental in the success of Ronald Reagan's 1984 campaign."
- one of the creators of the ad later known as the Willie Horton ad
- claimed responsibility for mischief (e.g., 'Brooks Brothers Riot') at the Florida 2000 recount
- founder of the anti–Hillary 527 group, C.U.N.T. (Citizens United Not Timid)
- recently acknowledged on Sean Hannity's radio show that he hadn't actually seen Michelle's purported "get whitey" video himself; he didn't know anyone else who had actually seen it; admitted it may be a hoax after all - but still insisted to Hannity that he believed it

I agree completely. I'd shine the light on those behind the 527 smear ads especially. Unfortunately their donor lists are private.
