McCain was trying to look and sound like Reagan
Thanks to TPM for providing clips of John McCain's speech in Louisiana and the unintentionally hilarious comments by CNN pundits. I think that McCain was coached by the same person who coached Reagan. McCain was doing a very poor job of imitating the little laugh and smile that Reagan would do before delivering his big line. Well, McCain is no Ronald Reagan, which that isn't a very high goal in any case.
John, can you say ... LOSER? Get used to the word!
