McBush: Jed Report Video

One of the best ones yet IMHO.

The DNC needs to make an ad out of this and just hammer away.

I don't know why Obama isn't hitting on all of these contradictions, unless he wants to keep McCain talking so openly and then hammer him with them come the fall when everybody starts paying attention.

There is literally a laundry list of 180 degree contradictions that McCain has made, and other than youtube vids and blogs/emailings it's really getting little real play. The MSM seemingly doesn't want to touch it, and the Obama campaign is too busy playing defense these days.

That doesn't mean MoveOn can't touch it. MoveOn should be making a new video every week like this one, and buying media in swing states for it.

McCain has truly put himself between a rock and a hard place. All he can do is deny himself; and then, deny that he denied himself!

It puzzles me greatly that such a being has reached as high as he has...

McCain's problem is that he is trying to be everything to everybody and before youtube MSM would let him(and others) get away with it.

He has to appeal to the fundamentalist right, the true republicans, the moderate/centrists and the independents while also now deciding to reach out to Clinton supporters.

He's offering the Evangelicals the Supreme Court appointments, he's parading around Lieberman to try and appeal to the moderates/centrists, he's trying to secretly to kiss up to Bush to appeal to those hardcore 30 percent of the base who still stick by him (and the right-wing radio nuts) and is touting his experience, the fact that Hillary said he passed the CIC test and Obama hasn't and glowing speeches about Hillary to appeal to her voters.

It will hopefully all come crashing down when he has all his supporters in one room (debates and the like) when he can't cater his message and cherry pick what he wants to highlight to appeal to one faction over another. I want to see him promise the far right the Supreme Court Justices in front of the centrists and independents he is courting. I want him to talk about his abortion stance in front of the Hillary supporters he is courting. To talk glowingly about Bush in front of the 70% that disapprove of Bush and then bash bush in front of the hardcore 30% that still support Bush.

Obama does seem to hit those contradictions, he did so in his Social Security speech yesterday for example. But the media doesn't give it much play.
