John Roberts nostalgic?
John Roberts seemed to be waxing nostalgic when they started playing Billy Idol on American Morning today.
Could he be remembering his early days in Toronto?

Money shot's at around 2:15, but well worth watching in its entirety.

Back when he was JD Roberts, he was a first a radio DJ, then a "VJ" on the Canadian equivalent of MTV (MuchMusic). He also hosted "The New Music" which was actually a remarkably good entertainment news program. Actually assumed the viewers had a brain and an attention span.
There's really not a lot from the show for him to be embarrassed by, even if he did interview the Bay City Rollers. He sure didn't ask what their favorite colors were.
