I totally give up on this blogging software
I can't use html in a post, right?

And if I try to put two returns in, that doesn't work either.
And I sincerely doubt I'm supposed to use \n.\n
So, how do I get two line breaks in a post?

Missssster Anderson. You made a fundamental error.
You mentioned Cheney.
You will NEVER catch another break.

its called "the enter button" you push it and you get a new line.
i think its fine as long as you don't try to do what you can't do.
stay within the parameters of the program and you should be able to post just fine.
i've not had too many problems. sure a typo here or there, or a werid format i wish i could fix, but now that i've gotten the hang of it, i've not had too many problems at all.

Hmm. My keyboard doesn't have an "enter button". It has a return key, and I can get a new line with that. The problem is, I can't get TWO new lines, as so many people seem able to do. This diminishes my ability to make my posts all purty.
And, now that you mention it, the lack of an enter button may be the problem. Does movable type have a line feed issue with certain OS/Browser combinations?

That appears to be the problem, if anybody else is interested. I just risked annoying the heck out of everybody to test my theory -- and, posting from a Mac in Safari, if you want a double line break, you have to hit return *four* times.
Weird, but it's good to know.
