Government and its place in (y)our society. part 1 (EDUCATION)

Different country’s have there own sometimes strange and historically developed systems to deal with healthcare, social security, education and taxation. While an outright comparison between two systems does nobody any good since these systems can not be “imported” from another country without adaptation and would meet a lot of opposition in other country’s since they clash with historic preconceptions about government and its role in society. While this may be true a lot can be learned about comparisons between different systems, one can learn what works and what doesn’t. I will compare what I know about your country’s system with what I know about mine: The Netherlands. The
