Giant Confederate Flag to fly in Florida
It's on private property, so no one can really do anything to stop it. Nor should they be able to. Insensitive and racist speech is still free speech.
But I was just struck by this statement:
"You're going to hear some complaints about it for sure," Adams said. "But it's a free country as far as I know."The irony is, of course, if the confederates had had their way, this wouldn't be a free country at all.
