Firefox 3.0 Now available for download.
Here is the link to the download site.

I just downloaded it, and it went very smoothly, and retained all of my previous bookmarks and settings. The download and installation takes very little time, compared to an IE installation. It looks very clean. It has some very nifty looking new features on handling bookmarks. I have not yet started to play with them, to take advantage of them.
I will do so in within the next couple of days.
Just wanted to give you Firefox users a heads up on the new release, and to let you know, that I found the download to be very rapid and completely painless. Good luck.

I actually installed it a while ago when it was still in beta because I'd heard about the significant improvements in memory management. Firefox 2 was consuming a bit too much RAM for one of my older computers.

I tried it but some of the add-ons didn't works, such as Add Bookmark Here, so I uninstalled and reinstalled 2.0,0.14.

It is loading much faster than Firefox 2+.
It also appears to do a much better job of displaying sites properly, than the 2+version
could not.

Installing now, and hoping NoScript was updated to work with it...

Just gave it a 60-minute workout on my iMac. Worked flawlessly.
And the BOOKMARKS function is vastly improved!

I had a couple of Javascript issues with certain sites in the Firefox 3 beta. They're gone in this full release. It's looking very nice and seems speedier (subjectively, anyway).
