Or do something productive by giving some money to the Democratic nominee for President of the United States of America, Barack Obama (the guy who will have to clean up the horrific legacy of George W. Bush):

Already did that for the second time this month (I usually just do once a month). But I'm a greedy sell-out, and I did it to get the pretty new Sierra Club limited edition t-shirt.
I know, I know. All my work defending my clients against violations of their Fourth Amendment rights, which happens every day on every street and in every courtroom in America (at least the ones with elected judges and reporters in them), which nobody cares about anyway because it only really affects minorities and the poor, are for naught because I support that heinous, freedom-hating facist pig Barack Obama.
I would do much better to never give him another dime and to encourage others to do the same. That way, it will be John McCain who gets the next TWO to FIVE appointments to the Supreme Court, not Obama. That will do wonders for my clients. And for my right to choose. And for my right to get the prescriptions my doctor prescribes for me, not just the ones my pharmacist thinks I am morally entitled to. And for my environment. And for my right to sue my employer for firing me for getting pregnant.
I know, shame on me. I'm a neocon in disguise.
Obama '08.

LibbyG - I like you. Keep up the great work. :)
I've been doing the math in my head, and I should be able to hit the fully allowable $2300 mark before election day. I've got some tax payments to make before 10/15, but I should have enough left over to max out my Obama allotment. Might have to skip a Springsteen concert or two, unfortunately, to make the numbers work, but it'll be worth it if it brings 'em home.

Crikey, I just remembered I forgot to pay my quarterly taxes! Thanks Wade, I may be able to avoid penalties if I act now. God this election has me distracted...
Keep giving that $$$$!

Thank you for putting the onus on other Senators, not just Obama (until the end, at least, where you put extra contact info for Obama, and thereby suggest that he has some higher duty than his congressional colleagues to stop this, which he doesn't.)
Otherwise, thanks.

Very nice job. Thanks. Although I think Obama should find a creative way to use his position to influence the outcome of FISA, I do sometimes wonder if many people have forgotten that Congress makes the laws and controls the money, so no President is able to save us if we do not hold each representative accountable for their votes.
When people only look to Obama to save us, that fantasy just gives Congress a free pass to continue its negligence as representatives of the people. If ALL our representatives are not held accountable, Obama will be unable to change much. Due to his position, Obama should be held supremely accountable, too.
Let's not forget that the Democratic leadership is accountable for the negligence of the rest of the Democrats in Congress. They are not qualified for leadership positions if they are unable to ensure their members do their jobs as representatives of the people, protect our basic rights and uphold the Constitution they each swore to protect. No business would keep a management team in power that could not deliver results and had no influence over the employees they were responsible for managing.
Sorry for the government 101 lecture, but it really seems to be called for these days. And we absolutely need to demand that Congress not try to slide things through without notice since that prevents the public from having the time to mount a campaign to ensure Congress does its job.
