Well i don't often disagree with you Ripper but this time I really do - vehemently.
This is so damned stupid of Kucinich it's mind boggling
Bush's ratings are already rock bottom. All this does is rally the conservatives, when that's the last thing we need.
haven't we learned anything since the Clinton years when the Republicans used to go for overkill?
We need the focus to be on Obama and this election - not activating the conservative base who so far have been lukewarm about this election.
Hopefully Pelosi and the others who DO have some political nous will reject all this as the destructive distraction it is.
Obama's already said he'll put the lawyers onto it once he's elected to see if there are any grounds for impeachment.
Kucinich should butt out!

Fran is right. The time for impeachment was two or three years ago. Now it is too late - Bush is a lame duck, election is upon us, and impeachment is a total distraction.
I was totally for impeachment a while back. But that time has passed.

I actually agree with this as well, but there is nothing to say they can't be impeached later right? Or is that simply a criminal prosecution in federal court by Attorney General john Edwards? Guess it is time to take the "Impeach W" sticker off the Prius. :O)

Shouldn't they be doing Cheney first? I'm not sure I would want to run the risk of having to put him on the collector dollars that are being issued (among other things).

Kucinich already introduced articles of impeachment against Cheney last year and the House Judiciary Committee has not taken action yet.

Not reporting things like this is the job of the MSM. What's going on here?
I don't think that political expediency is a good enough reason to silence Kucinich or to stop talk of impeachment. Impeachment, or hearing leading up to impeachment, may be what's required to keep Little Georgie and The Big Dick from bombing Iran.
Regardless, if not now, then how about beginning impeachment proceedings on November 5?

You can't impeach someone who's out of office. Impeachment results in removal from office (not criminal type penalties).
