Clinton Post Mortem Fantasy

All the post mortems about why Hillary lost?

She DIDN'T LOSE.

Tell the voters in OH, PA and WV that she lost.

The losing was an inside job.

Party insiders decided she lost, and didn't care what the voters said.

Every time she won a major primary, we'd hear:  "Well time to quit."

All the DC mediocrities that resent Clinton's popularity, just used Obama to feel good.  Even if it destroys the party.

Talk about the oil bubble, the Obama bubble will burst before the election, if it hasn't already.

So, you are saying that she won? Um, do you honestly think Hillary would have gotten out of this if she thought she won?

Party insiders; patootie! She lost by the rules that she was just fine with before she was losing; the rules that her own campaign advisers helped to put in place.

Obama heard a lot of, "You can't win hard-working, white Americans." You can't win against a Clinton. So what if people told Hillary to quite before she actually lost? She stayed in until the very end, and she lost fair and square. Why can't you accept reality? I know you don't like it, but saying it's not true is not helping your -- ?cause?

What is your cause, by the way?

Have you looked at the actual numbers?

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/democratic_vote_count.html

They're more complicated than your simplistic "it was the party elders!" accusations.

Since I live in reality, I prefer to convince my opponents with reality as well.

The "actual" numbers????
Pfffft!

"Present"'s argument is based on fake numbers, so his response to actual numbers is very telling.

The silliest idiocy I've read here.

Reality can be a tough destination to reach for those who bought the ticket for Fantasyland.

I would like some fries with my McTroll burger.

Goodness, but Johnny Mac is expanding his payroll!

She lost when she allowed Sen. Obama to run up 11 straight victories. He passed her in delegates, and when she won, she didn't win by large enough percentages to make up the deficit.

Everything after that was a valiant rear-guard effort, but it all wound up being just a bit short of what was needed. At no point were the super delegates seriously considering overturning the result of a hard-fought, energizing contest that brought out record numbers of new voters.

In spite of the math saying it was pretty obvious she couldn't overcome Sen. Obama's lead, the calls for her to quit didn't start in earnest until the Indiana / North Carolina primaries, where Sen. Obama racked up a large win, and she barely held onto Indiana.

Regardless, the real losers are the Republicans, who watched hordes of voters turn out for the Democrats, while their own primaries were less than spectacular, and their presumptive nominee was losing as much as 30% of the vote to people not in the race any longer.

There WILL be a Democrat in the White House in January, and that's a victory for the party.

The majority of democratic Voters don't agree with you.
But keep on readin' Daily Kos.
I was thrown off of Daily Kos when I wrote a post one week before the 04 election that Kerry lost.
How did I know this? I was the only one on Daily Kos making telephone calls for John Kerry. Only old squaws do this shit work. The young studs were busy showing off in blogs.
Talking to the Ohio voters, I learned a lot.
I found that John Kerry was history.
And I am telling you now, that if Obama is our nominee, he is history.
His one and ONLY crack at the presidency is to build credentials as the vice president to Hillary Clinton for 8 years. THEN he will have the trust of voters.
Right now, he is a joke.
He is a racehorse being put in the KY Derby before he is ready.
And once he loses the bigtime, he is gone for good, my friend.

avatar

"he is gone for good, my friend."!
Ah, if only we could say the same for you. For those who are interested the following are previous posts of "Present":

McCain isn't going to change Roe vs Wade.

McCain just voted FOR Boxer's Global Warming Bill.
The bill was shot down by other senate Republicans and the four democratic assholes who voted with them.

McCain is independent.

Love those Kossacks!
They are so PROUD of going into archives and pulling out previous pieces.
They're so smart! Yet their candidates ALWAYS L0SE!
Such smart little know-it-alls, with brains of a 3-day-old leftover can of beans.

I am Nicolas Chauvin and I have approved this message.

Excuse me Mr. Present, where can I sign up to collect McCain Super-Duper Trollpoop Points? I want to win prizes while serving the Republican party with KRove-approved divide and conquer rhetoric, just like you, Mr. Present!

Sorry, I broke my own Don't Feed The Trolls advice, folks. But Mr. Present is just such a peach!

if it isn't Hillary, it will be McCain.
And you'll all be on Daily Gross whining "it was Hillary's fault."

Present, since hrebendorf was not allowed to post this on Hillaryis44, I would hope you would take a look. You have posted your youtube video. Everyone knows the Hillary side of the argument, so please take a look at this post -

I hope you will. :)

No, it wouldn't be Hillary's fault - it would be people like you who choose to not enter into a constructive, positive debate about issues, policies and candidates - because to do so would mean you would have to know what you are talking about. Spewing insults and gotcha's are the best you can do - why is that? Too much for you to be up front, state your position and specifically why you believe your choice to be the best? Is it that you can't or won't? I don't think McCain is a bad person per se, but I can't support his policies - specifically his stance on the war (and there are others). As for Hillary, there's no longer a need to debate as she's no longer a candidate.
Now, I'm attempting to engage you in an adult and positive manner about the Presidential candidates and election. Wanna give it a try?

TROLL_LIKE BEHAVIOUR WARNING
Folks, if you see something that looks like sh*t based on the headline or the comment - do everyone a favor - check out their comments profile FIRST - then recognize that any posts other than posts TO THE COMMUNIT that OTHERWISE IGNORE the poster is simply a wasted endeavor.

I cna understand one or two citations to RCP, or perhaps the graphs at NY T to help others befuddled by the trollish rancor and vitriol that is being spewed in our direction/

EVEY OTHER WORD on our comments however should be
WARNING - TROLL LIKE POSTERN TRING TO INFLAME THE COMMUNITY

Another perfect example - a brand new comment from someon named "mandy" = such obvious inflammatory sh*t
- take half a second - click their name and if all of the letters you see are filled with trollish rancor - or in the case of Mandy, they signed up just to spew this one piece of inflammatory crap - leave em alone. Or do what I'm gonna do - post a TROLL WARNING.

My favorite was the Michelle Troll who morphed into a black woman with poor spelling just in time to respond to the AA on Hillary Blog -

it has the same smell wherever it appears.

They are little yappers not worth our time.

All of Hillary's supporters must have come from Fantasy Island. YES HILLARY LOST IN W.VA, PA, and OH. And guess what, W VA is a GOP state, not a Democratic state. She needed to get out, she was and did loose. The result is she is now $30 million in debt.

And now you've fallen into the trap laid by "Present". Look, he obviously isn't a real Clinton supporter, but merely wants to encourage Clinton and Obama supporters to fight. Don't help him out!
