TPMM highlighted a key law firm, connected with Abramoff and "Lobbyist C," presumably Kevin Ring:

Ring worked for Rep. John Doolittle (R-CA) from 1993 to 1998 and later
worked for the Senate Judiciary Committee, then the Conservative Action
Team (co-founded by Doolittle), before he joined Jack Abramoff at
Greenberg, Traurig LLP in 2001.

The DoD emails at 5708 list Greenberg, Traurig. (DoD at 5735 redacted these names, which are disclosed at 5708.)

Alleged Rendition, NSA Violations

The unredacted names on 5708 are important. Item one on that list is a former White House counsel, whose law firm has been implicated with White House data retention issues, and in providing financial attestation services to the covering company over the subsidiary providing the rendition scheduling.

The last item  on that list is a firm linked with an NSA telecom. the same telecom linked indirectly to Rove's legal team.

Wecht Jury Tampering and White House

The above also relates to McClellan. The NYT today mentioned a key comment in an affidavit linking Rove with the  Siegelman prosecutorial abuses. The affidavit states Rove personally visited the DoJ public integrity section, attempting to manipulate prosecutions on Siegelman.

She said the younger Mr. Riley also told her that Mr. Rove had spoken
to the Justice Department’s Public Integrity Section about getting Mr.
Siegelman indicted.

This is important because McClellan previously denied any White House connection with prosecutorial abuse in the Libby trial:

"We don't want to do anything from here [in the White House] that could prejudice the opportunity for a fair trial."

Notice McClellan's parsing does not exclude the option that someone connected with the White House took action from the Department of Justice, and would comfortably accommodate Rove's discussions with DOJ public integrity.

Another affidavit discloses a phone call the husband of a US Attorney discussing efforts to go after Siegelman:

After Mr. Siegelman’s conviction, Dana Jill Simpson, a Republican
lawyer, swore in an affidavit that she had heard another G.O.P.
political operative, Bill Canary, boast in a phone call that his wife
would “take care” of Mr. Siegelman and that Mr. Rove was involved in
the planning. Mr. Canary’s wife is Leura Canary, the United States
attorney for Montgomery, and her office prosecuted Mr. Siegelman.

What We've Shown

The White House has been linked with efforts to tamper with the judicial system and prosecutions, raising the prospect the White House was directly involved with Wecht Jury Tampering;

The DoD emails link Abramoff-connected legal counsel to other personnel involved with Rendition, NSA violations, and campaign contributions;

There were campaign contributions behind NSA violations, rendition, and other alleged war crimes;

Campaign contributions link the President to efforts to provide immunity to telecoms and legal counsel for alleged war crimes, POW abuse, and FISA violations.

Connecting the Dots



The disclosures today at TPMM, if true, show there is a link between the White House and:

A. Illegal political lobbying;

B. DoD emails;

C. White House propaganda;

D. NSA violations;

E. Rendition and POW abuse;

F. Prosecutorial abuses, jury tampering.

Because of the financial links through Abramoff, it is presumed the US
Attorneys were targeted for firing because they had information about
how the GOP was using DoD contracts to launder funds for candidates.

Where This Is Going

The firms listed on the DoD emails are presumed innocent until proven guilty of war crimes. The disclosures today on TPMM and NYT establish a larger nexus between civilian contractors, legal counsel, POW abuse, NSA violations, and war crimes. Scott McClellan's earlier assertions -- that there was no connection between the White House and trial abuses -- do not reconcile with Rove's actions.

On the table is the real possibility outside counsel, NSA telecoms, and military analysts can be directly linked with illegal propaganda, war crimes, prisoner abuse, and unlawful White House tampering with prosecutions in not just the Siegelman cases, but others including Wecht.

We've shown a reasonable nexus includes an alleged larger conspiracy to unlawfully wage war, induce Congress to rubber stamp appropriations, and launder funds from these DoD contractors to fund the GOP "permanent" majority. No one from the White House, Department of Justice, or outside counsel has provided any evidence to justify any other conclusion.

The type, not the scale of the abuses are on the order of what we saw at Nuremberg and the Justice Trial, where lawyers were adjudicated with war crimes. Congress must confront these alleged war crimes attached through the DoD emails to American lobbyists, contractors, and outside counsel.

Congress is not inclined to act. We must support a lawful restructuring of the US government to prevent this abuse of power from ever occurring.
