Yeah, like the one Martin Sheen took up the river in Apocalypse Now.
Or, suggests DairyStateMom, like the one Jimmy Hoffa took some 35 or so years ago.
What "very special journey" would you compare the primary race to?

The "special journey" of a woman and an African American credibly vying for the nomination to run for president, I think, can not be fairly compared to any historic event.

Perhaps I was a bit too sensitive having just read this particularly odious "looking in the rear view mirror to pretend to predict the future" (as Joe Klein put it) piece.
