I'm not in St. Paul yet, but I'll be going over there in a bit. My friend Kathy, who lives a few blocks from the Xcel Center, says there's a cop on every corner in downtown St. Paul. I think Obama may already be in town. We're going to try to sneak into downtown via University Avenue. Reports I'm getting from friends are that 94 is bumper to bumper starting just over the Mississippi River.
What an amazing day. It's all been worth it--every single excruciating second.

Thanks hrebendorf!! Enjoy the speech and the excitement!! Reminds me of running through Boston with my shirt off after the Sox beat the Yankees in 2004!!
Anyway, listening to Chris Matthews speak tonight makes me think we'll be seeing dancing in the streets across the globe. He said there hasn't been a black leader in any "majority white" country ever. And he quoted Desmond Tutu as saying something like:
"America's biggest problem is race. But only in America can Barack Obama happen."

There is allegedly a 5 SD Bonus for winning Montana and the "Pelosi Club" seems to still have 5 members.. So that takes him to 2.
Then he will take about 18 tonight.
That takes him over by 16

According to CNN he is -1 delegates away from winning the campaign - can't declare himself the nominee though, before the "future" vice president Hillary Clinton selects him as her running mate in the president slot. She was in it to win - ok, ok, she misspoke - again. If there were on Oscar for shabby campaigning and sorry losers, Hillary Clinton would get it. If she would just for once shut her mouth.
