Sick. Nothing funny about it. Go ahead, dehumanize the dehumanizer and see how human you remain.
Sincerely,
An ardent Obama fan.

well since i dont know what that means can i assume you are comparing me to hitler?
Yep, laughing certainly is fantastic. When things are funny. I have a very twisted sense of humor, but Hitler is simply not funny to me. And I'm not even one of those Shoah-obsessed kinds of Jews. I just think that comparing Hillary to a man who burned millions of Jews, Gypsies, and homosexuals is beyond hyperbole. And just not funny.
But if it's what you need to do to get your ya-yas out and get over the Hillary-rage, go for it. I just can't sanction it myself. Sorry.
lol..dont assume things.
i dont have any rage towards hillary.
so lets comparte hillary to her vote for war that has burned hundreds of thousands of iraq women and children. ok?
btw.. you ever see mel brooks
springtime for hitler?
I have to agree. This kind of stuff is disgusting and sick, and I turned it off as soon as Hitler's image emerged.
It seems this is just the kind of thing Andrew was referring in his earlier post. As long as you're an Obama supporter and it's about Clinton it's OK.
By the way, it was posted earlier by someone who apologized for the Hitler image and the homophobic message, while extolling its humor. Which I thought was really bizarre. Recognizing its vile nature but still laughing about it and recommending it.
Um, that was me who posted the blog earlier, and I said I didn't equate Hillary with Hitler nor did I agree with the homophobic statements made, but that for sheer comedic value it was worth posting. Honestly, if you don't think it's funny, fine, but obviously many people do (it has over 105,000 hits). And, anyway, this is a parody of a parody (another one was done using the same film about the Dallas Cowboys - here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYu68SHWh64). Are you going to get incensed about someone insulting the Cowboys by using Hitler? Were you upset with Mel Brooks when he lampooned Hitler in The Producers (after all, making Hitler "funny", especially so soon after WWII, was risky and very controversial).
Is it tasteless? Yes, certainly. But since when is comedy always tasteful and non-controversial? Laughter is the best weapon against almost any injustice, and sometimes it's the only way to get the point across. I think whoever made this parody did it brilliantly and it certainly makes its point. And it's funny.
First, I'm glad the original was about the Cowboys and not my 18-1 Patriots...

LEAD TENOR STORMTROOPER:
And now it's...
Springtime for Hitler and Germany
Deutschland is happy and gay!
STORMTROOPER "ROLF": I was born in Dusseldorf und that is why they call me Rolf.
STORMTROOPER "MEL [BROOKS]": Don't be stupid, be a smarty, come and join the Nazi party!
its comedy!
be offended if you think it earns you some badge of something or other...but if you turned it off so fast dont pretend you made up your mind based on what you saw.
