Why Obama is Important.
Newsweek in this week's issue, Zareed Fakaria:
Generations from now, when historians write about these times, they might note that by the turn of the 21st century, the United States had succeeded in its great, historical mission—globalizing the world. We don't want them to write that along the way, we forgot to globalize ourselves.

Now that I've found the source of the quote, I have to say that your tie-in to Obama makes for a pretty picture, but it's not really the author's point. And, though I'm not prepared to do it, nor do I have the desire, but I suspect that one could argue that some of Sen. Obama's proposals are questionable, as to how they'd achieve Mr. Fakaria's aims.
