why do TPM folks care about the $ Hill raises?

avatar

why would the readers be so interested in the finances of a lost candidacy? what possible difference would it make, given the insurmountable lead in delegates that Obama has established?

we are told it is over, we are treated to Obama supporters alternately telling Clinton supporters: welcome we want your vote, or, you old geezers & uneducated dopes, we do not need you, be gone.

Obama won a state big, Hillary won a state big, they are both popular candidates with lots of supporters.

but, back to my original thought, why the obsessing about the Clinton finances, do you think she will declare bankruptcy and go away to live in a mobile home park?

why does it bother the winners, when their candidate is engaged in debate over appeasment and other hot topics for the eternally lame brained?

move on brothers and sisters, drop your hostility at the door, let it go, it is going to the convention, you will have a vote, and in all liklihood, win, so why sweat the small stuff?

it is more reflective on your own sense of inadequacy of your candidate that makes you so pathetically transfixed on how much money the Clinton campaign raises, there are millions upon millions of us who will contribute to any fund we want to, we want to make sure the first real candidacy of a woman for President is not snuffed out like a candle, a paen to the dark.

get over it, please...and I do hope I did not stalk or otherwise hurt any living person, animal or stuffed toy in this statement.

many of us Clinton supporters are watching, and what we see is pretty perplexing. but, we are Democrats, I have always been one, and there will come a time to vote in November, I wonder if some will still be whaling away at the dead horse then, out of reflex?

your slips are showing, and we do notice....get over it, get over yourselves and your lofty enlightenment, it could just be gas, you know?

Basically, her handling of her campaign finances reflects her poor management style....

I am interested in her campaign debt because there have been a series of discussions about Democrats eventually helping Sen. Clinton retire her IOUs--now at $31mm. Due to campaign finance laws, etc., a few of the rich or another campaign cannot pay off this debt and so it will most likely come from those who have given to say Obama's campaign since her supporters have been so far unable to come through. This will mean that $31mm that could have gone to various other races will instead be used to take care of a very poorly managed campaign.

Yes, we as Democrats and sympathizers all have a profound and vested interest in the rising debt of Sen. Clinton. What I don't understand is your seeming hostility to those concerned about the debt and your lack of concern about the now $31mm. Show me that Clinton supporters are coming through with their wallets and I will be less interested. I promise.

It's not $31M. The LA Times screwed up their numbers and it's still $20M.
