WHY DO CONSERVATIVES YELL?

avatar

Does anybody know why conservatives yell?

I was watching that dumba$s, Kevin Jone, on Hardball last night and all he did was yell. He didn't make one point at all - he just kept on yelling. And I thought back to to other so called conservatives like Sean Hannity and Bill O'reilly and, even, Pat Buchanan. These guys are just "yell-ers"...maybe they think that the more they yell, the more people respond to them.

For the records - The id1ot (Kevin James) actually graduated without taking one single history class. No wonder he failed another "history" test on Harball.
Thank you Chris Mathews for exposing this fraud (seems like any illiterate can get a radio show now).

For the same reason American tourists in non-English speaking countries often yell louder in English when no one understands them; they assume the fault is in the listener, not the speaker, and if the Americans keep yelling louder and louder, poof, the hegemony of their world view will suddenly assert itself, and the listener will miraculously "get" it.

Kevin James is a screaming buffoon.

They yell because they are outrage merchants.

They rile people up and then cut to commercials that feed into that mindset. Buy gold because the economy is tanking. Buy a gas guzzler out of patriotism. Get a divorce lawyer. ASk your doctor about heart medication.

The political side effects of promoting ignorance and hate are gravy. The goal of a dumb, pliant, and reactionary consumer populace serves the bottom line for Dow Jones.

They yell because they are trying to intimidate, not debate. It's just plain old bullying behavior.
As a political analyst, Chris Matthews is kind of so-so, but I sure enjoyed him going to town on Kevin James.

in mathematics, it is called proof by intimidation. sometimes it works to get others to stop questioning your logic. it is often the only method to prove something that isn't actually true.

So it's like, "In any right triangle a-squared equals b-squared plus c-square, because if it doesn't I'm gonna break your fingers off."

Because they are hoping we will mistake loudness for correctness. Bluster masquerading as surety. I see this as a substitute for them having to think about any issue.

Essentially, conservatives are faking it through many arguments and are hoping that by yelling no one will notice. Matthews DID notice.

Which sort of the opposite of what you get with many liberals who often show a quiet thoughtfulness and perspective which conservatives try to label as incorrectness.

Modern conservatives have certainly made loudmouthery in to an art form.

Yelling is about dominance: a way to get others to appease you.

Confusing emotional intimidation with gaining rational agreement is the hallmark of a bully. Combine that with the understanding that recessivist thought is contrary to human nature and you realize that is all they got.

Thank god for the internet, we've found that most people agree with each other that these screaming a-holes are irrelevant and angry about their irrelevance.

Conservatives do yell a lot.. but seriously, no one, NO ONE yells more than Chris Matthews. And that's okay.

Or spits!

because they equate being loud with being right.

Empty barrels make the most noise!

Because they are the WWE of politics...all mouth, bluster and about as intellectually challenged as the mat those wrestlers roll around on.
