Where is Hilary Clinton?
Something interesting or odd is happening, the Clinton campaign has been extremely quite lately...
I don't know if anyone has noticed but the media have entirely ignored Clinton...
What do you think?

Today was a very quiet Clinton day considering her ENORMOUS LANDSLIDE WIN on Tuesday. I think she was drowned by the superdelegate flood to Obama. Either that or she is psychologically preparing herself to drop out next Wednesday after Kentucky and Oregon.

Edwards endorsement buried her interview circuit on Wednesday, and then Bush's attack from Israel and the rebuttals dominated the news for the last couple of days. Looking at the Sunday News shows, it doesn't look like there is much Clinton coverage there as none of her surrogates are scheduled and come the next primary, the dominating news will likely be Obama claiming victory, unless he loses Oregon.
I believe I read that Oregon was tightening up - Obama better get there and campaign, because he doesn't want to be embarrassed with a loss there especially when he is planning to declare victory.

Remember when some polls suggested that Senator Clinton was ahead in NC? I believe this is the same thing for Oregon. I no longer believe the polls...
BTW, he is campaigning in Oregon most of the week-end.
And I think with the way he handle Bush/Mcsame today, and plus the disgraceful comment from Huckabee, I think he is going to win some extra point.
Also there is no report yet as how much money both campaign raised for the month of April. I believe the deadline is on Tuesday...

The RCP average of several major polls today shows Obama up by an average of 14.3 points in OR. Given that lots of them have already voted it's probably a more stable location where that's concerned. I haven't found any estimates of how many ballots have been received yet but it's and all mail-in primary and they've had their ballots for about two weeks.

A Portland friend of mine tells me that there's been massive youth vote registration, and he thinks Obama's going to win. Hope he's right.
I do think it's a pity he left it till this weekend to campaign there again. (Postal voting finished yesterday. I suppose he's hoping there'll be plenty of last minute voting in the special boxes and that he'll be trying to win those and mitigate the impact of Clinton's recent campaigning there.)

You didn't knock on wood when you posted this...
My heart sank after I'd read it and the posts re Oregon and then went to Politico.com and saw this - that Hillary has ads running in Oregon blasting the media for counting her out.
"The goal is two-fold. Clinton, a New York senator, wants to staunch the flow of uncommitted superdelegates to Obama, an Illinois senator, by convincing them she can still win the nomination. She also wants to generate a protest vote in the four states that have yet to hold primaries, as well as in Puerto Rico.
The Clinton camp believes a media backlash drove up turnout among her supporters in West Virginia, which last week delivered a landslide 67 percent to 26 percent victory for her.
“Because I believe that I am better prepared to be president and I am more likely to be able to win, I don’t care what the pundits say. I’m going to leave it up to the voters,” Clinton said Friday night at a televised town hall meeting at Portland’s NBC affiliate. She said pundits have been counting her out “since Iowa and the voters always prove them wrong. I mean, I’ve been declared dead so many times and luckily it’s been premature and I’m hoping it stays premature.”
Also on Friday, Clinton’s campaign began airing an ad in Oregon, which holds its primary Tuesday, that pits her against the Beltway media elites.
The ad, titled "What's Right," shows video snippets of a cadre of television show hosts who have dismissed or downplayed Clinton’s chances – NBC’s Tim Russert, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos and MSNBC anchors Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews."
So, no, she hasn't been quiet. sigh
