Uncle Dick's compromise
Bill and Bob found an apple.
Bob says, "Let's share: half for you and half for me."
But Bill says, "No, I want the whole thing!"
Bob says again, "Let's share alike."
But Bill says, "No way, I want the whole thing!"
Now along comes Uncle Dick and says, "Now, children, let's compromise. You, Bobbie, get one quarter, and you Billie, get three quarters."
That's Uncle Dick's compromise.
And so it is like that in this election. Obama is Bob, and Hillary is Bill (surprise!). Do you want to be Uncle Dick?

To be fair, the metaphor should be that they both want the whole apple. As Uncle Dick we should probably make them share but I'm reluctant.
