The Shift in the North Carolina African American vote.
The Wright issue has not only discouraged white blue collar voters. A recent Rasmussen Poll (May 2nd) has Obama getting 70 % of the African American vote in North Carolina with 20% undecided and 10% already committing to Clinton. I think the final shift will be even more pronounced.
Figures weren't given on gender, but my guess is that it's African American women who are defecting from the Obama ranks.
A recent article reported that the average salary of Obama's female staffers is significantly lower than the average salary of the male staffers. Clinton pays women and men an equal avaerage wage. McCain's female staffers average higher salaries than their male counterparts.
This race is about gender!

Up, how about proving it?
Or am I supposed to just up and believe you because you took the time to write it?
Your Clintonian tactics won't work, stooge.

I also read that Clinton pays her staffers in jelly beans instead of cash, so she can spend more money on ad buys.
Oh, don't believe me? It was in a recent article. Yup. I read it. I swear!

You, as well as the title of the article, misrepresent the information. It is taken as an average of all those working for each Senator (and this is in regards to the Senate staffs, not campaign staffs). Obviously, as Senator Clinton's chief of staff is a female, and Senator Obama's is a male, this is going to skew the averages for the genders.
Higher level positions get paid more.
Clintons numbers of African-American support has not budged. Therefore, you have zero basis for your theory.
My take? Let's just wait and see what happens Tuesday. Then we can begin the endless dissecting of the numbers.

Excuse me for not being clear about the staffers. Thank you Hilarym99 for providing the precise information and source.
I'm looking forward with everyone to seeing the final numbers in North Carolina.
"Rendez-vous", as the French say, tomorrow!

The results in North Carolina indicate that the African American vote remained racially aligned.
