Barring the traditional live man or dead woman, Barack Obama will be the Democratic nominee. It is now incalculably important that we invite Hillary Clinton and her supporters to join us in defeating John McCain, and putting the country on a course to undo the damage of the last eight years.<br>Incalculably important. Really.

Let's start with the fact that McCain is Bush with white hair and a blond wife.
Keep it simple.

Any sentence that ends with "blond wife" is going to get a positive response.
You mean to say, "Bush with less hair and a worse temper."

Apropos of nothing: can anybody explain to me, a lowly TPM newbie, why when I write a post and put in actual line breaks, they disappear and my text is all smooshed together; but if I try to use html, I end up with tags in my post? Please tell me I don't have to use \n or something...
