I went, I worked, We conquered.

I just returned from the beautiful city of Washington, North Carolina where the courageous Voters For Change and the dedicated volunteers brought in the City of Washington plus Beaufort, Martin and Hyde Counties for Barack Obama.

I had the pleasure of meeting many nice citizens and making long lasting friendships among the volunteers. I was so glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone after the PA primary , went to Barack Obama.com, and signed up to volunteer. I even have Senator Obama  on my cell phone voice mail thanking the volunteers.

If you haven't already visited the web site it's a great place to start helping out. You can even make phone calls from your own home to potential voters to encourage them to vote Obama in their upcoming primary.

I wish I could have blogged but that's a no-no with the campaign but I was so busy canvassing, phoning volunteers, and helping cover the Obama Headquarters I just barely had time to visit TPM for the polls and headlines.  I hope to go back to my now "sister city" and help out in the fall election.
