Senator Clinton' s Friends and Undecided Super Delegates Must Tell Her It is Time to Stop
As Ariana Huffington stated in her most recent post, it is time for us ordinary Democrats to stop hoping Senator Clinton will do the right thing and instead contact her allies and undecided superdelegates to persuade them that in the interests of winning in 2008 this race needs to end-- Now.
Senator Clinton's reasons for staying in the race or contending Obama has not won under the Rules set by the DNC and agreed to by all candidates are quite disturbing and destructive even giving them the most favorable interpretation. ie; I have won the votes of hard working White people, RFK was assasinated in June, my husband did not wrap up the nomination until June, Michigan and Florida are a matter of Civil Rights, .( Senator Clinton agreed to and signed a pledge to abide by the disqualification of Michigan and Florida-- thus she condoned and pledged to adhere to Civil Rights Violations and months later seeks to be the liberator of those same alleged violations. This is akin to kidnapping a child and then seeking a reward for letting the child go)
Each one of these reasons are contrary to Democratic Party ideals and any objective reality. They are all fase issues with false premises designed to harden her supporters and weaken Obama . Her staying in through West Virginia, Kentucky and Puerto Rico was also designed to embarrass Obama in the minds of the public and superdelegates as the math and path to the nomination was over some time ago. Of course , Senator Clinton lost by a landslide in Oregon and North Carolina--- hardly a meaningful dent in Obamas momentum.
Senator Clinton's strategy has worked in part, but mostly she has embarrassed herself and the Democratic Party. Of course this is not helpful to anyone and the longer it goes the more destructive it will be.
So, what to do . I suggest you go to Senator DIANE FEINSTEIN'S web site and e-mail her your thoughts as I did earlier today and contact undecided superdelegates.Senator Feinstein is a thoughtful and genuine Senator who is likewise a supporter of Senator Clinton. My gut tells me she will do what is in the best interest of the Party. ( Go to Huffington Post and Ariana Huffington has a list of undedided superdelegates).
Those are the best steps to seek to stop the nonsensical destruction going on now. Senator Obama has been taking arrows form the Media , Republicans and Senator Clinton for to long and it is time to even the playing field a little. Lets move forward together to win this thing in 2008.

Senator Obama is not the right candidate for the Democratic Party to win the general election against McCain.
Many Americans feel deceived by the many irregularities in Senator Obama speeches and by the bias favoring him in the media. In addition, Clinton supporters are certainly unhappy with the outcome of Michigan and Florida primaries.
The newspapers and the news media are not including the total amount of votes or delegated needed for 50 states. Instead of 2025 for 48 states, shouldn’t they be looking at 50 states outcome of 2209? When will the media finally change the real number, after the primary is over?
If the proper number of delegates needed for 50 states were on charts and maps in newspapers and on TV, months ago as they should have been, this race would not have been close. These are over 300 delegates and millions of votes being held back from Michigan and Florida. They certainly are watching the outcome of the DNC’s decision at the end of May.
Both Candidates, not just Senator Clinton, should be fighting for the American people to have their voices heard. The only reason Senator Obama is not fighting for any solution is because he would lose.
According to Donna Brazille, one of the members of the DNC board, she stated on CNN the other night while speaking to Terry Macullef and Wolf Blitzer, that she did change the rules on a prior occasion. Please investigate CNN transcript between May 13-15.
The news should not discourage Senator Clinton to step down, nor should Senator Obama encourage Senator Clinton to step down. Millions of voters want their voices heard. Also, Senator Obama is new to Americans. It was less than a month ago that Americans knew about Reverend Wright. Who knows what character of the past might just bubble to the top during the process of vetting Senator Obama.
Many media outlets have discussed other unfavorable characters related to Senator Obama. The main stream media may decide to investigate them at any time. Concerns about Obama values, patriotism and past relationships are major issues. These are just a sampling of what is being circulated on line:
•Senator Obama has publicly lied about his relationship with his mentor, Reverend Wright.
•Senator Obama has lied about his relationship with Anton Rezko, a Syrian criminal on trial in Chicago (Chicago Tribune)
•Senator Obama never talks about his Muslim father, (NY Times Magazine) His not mentioning this fact is in circulation (Chicago Sun Times, You Tube, ABC)
•Senator Obama has spoken about his grandmother as a “typical white” person(Obama’s words) (Fox talk radio)
•Senator Obama has been on the cover of Trumpet Magazine with Louis Farrakhan (Fox news: Hannity/Colmes)
.Senator Obama has support from Nation of Islam: Farrakhan recently had a Savior’s Day rally for Obama in Chicago with 20,000 members in attendance. (Chicago Tribune, Lou Dobbs Tonight)
•Senator Obama worked on the “Woods Foundation” with William Ayers, domestic terrorist Fox news (Hannity and Colmes)
•Senator Obama attended the anti Semitic Million Man March in 1995 ( Fox news) Louis Farrakhan was the main speaker at the event.
•Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago teaches Black Liberation Theology based on a 10 point African American philosophy. (Fox News, Trinity United Church of Christ web site)
•Senator Obama’s employee and supporter has recently been dismissed because of his meeting with Hamas. (NY Times May 13-17 and CNN “Political Ticker” CNN Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer)
These are all facts. All of these matters are being cirulated on line.
Is this an example of our future Democratic nominee? If any candidate should be asked to step aside, I would ask Senator Obama to consider it.
Senator Obama and his relationships can be viewed on multiple sites on the Internet and in articles in various newspapers; Americans can not understand why all of these issues aren’t being thoroughly investigated. Many of Senator Obama’s relationships are very disturbing.
There are also blocs of voters that Democrats need to win:
White Male Voters
Women Voters
Latino Voters
Cuban Voters
Catholic Voters
Older Voters
Swing State Voters
Ohio, Michigan, Florida, California, NY, NJ, Pennsylvania, Indian, West Virginia, Texas and Kentucky are out of his reach
Lastly, there is an “elephant in the voting booth”: the racial factor. Democrats should stop running away from this issue and discuss it head on. Many white old timers are not being honest in polls about voting for an African American.
I apologize if this seems offensive to anyone, that is not my intent. If Democrats want to win this general election we need to discuss race openly. Otherwise, Democrats will not be able to determine who would be the best candidate to fight John McCain.
Please take the time and review all articles and hold off from supporting Senator Obama until he is fully vetted. He may win the primary, but he is an extreme risk to win in the general election.

Well...
Dear folks!
The Democratic Party continues to tear itself apart. There are many different ways to the goal.
Just staying home at election day seems a bit lame, and not sufficient to guarantee the victory for McCain, does it?
If Ralph Nader can run for president without the blessings of The Big Tent, why shouldn't one of the two, Clinton or Obama, be able to do the same trick?
But, came to think of it, why not split the Democrats in two parties now at once? Wouldn't that be the smartest and simpliest?

This "party unity" thing is a hollow argument. Clinton can stay in until she loses. If she wants to embarrass herself, let her. It's her career.
If, on the other hand, she shows herself to be a historical barrier breaker in the history of women in American politics when all the dust settles (and it WILL settle) then she's accomplished something of consequence.
Sure she lost Oregon by a landslide. But she won Kentucky by a landslide. You simply can't deny her popularity and can't dictate that she drop out.
Further, are you actually arguing she should drop out because her candidacy "embarrasses" Obama in the minds of others?
Politicians, by their very nature, are embarrassing!

How about this? Instead of trembling at the feet of the Republican smear machine, why not acknowledge that the majority of Democratic voters have chosen an intelligent, articulate candidate and rally behind this candidate? Let's make the discourse about the Republican record in the past 30 years, especially the past 8.
