RE: Clintonomics and McAuliffe's Straw Man
Was watching Terry "I have no shame" McAuliffe's latest on why the gas tax holiday is a good idea. Except after watching that, i still don't know why its a good idea.
If you'll notice, you'll see he doesn't actually defend the policy (probably because its indefensible, even for a professional hack like him) but instead says its about getting families relief. "People need help in this country."
Well no one disputes that, Terry. Well no one that's not named John McCain.
What's being disputed is whether or not the gas tax holiday is the best way to do it. And everyone not associated with the Clinton or McCain campaigns says its not.
The Clintons want this to be another "I feel your pain" moment. They want it to be about Hillary fightin' for the folks while Obama looks down his nose while eating arugula and drinking orange juice for breakfast. Which is why, whenever you see a surrogate or spin master talking about this, they almost never defend the specific policy, but always go on and on about how "the folks need help" as if people need to be convinced there's a problem.
Well, Terry. We know there's a problem. We also know your boss's solution to the problem won't help and has a very good chance of actually making the problem much worse.

I know it is a typo, but your title seems like a response to Hillary's recent testicle issues as described by her surrogates.

LOL!
Because I didn't see the typo until jdw pointed it out (and I usually spot a typo right quick), and because I agree with it, I recommend this post.
